Lost Herald
herein, furniture of rare make

Fitted furniture, designed like architecture.

Wardrobes, media walls, alcove units, panelled rooms and kitchens. Designed and built by one pair of hands, for homes across Liverpool and the North West.

I'm Sean: architect by training, designer by trade, joiner by choice. Your room gets drawn properly first, priced honestly, and built once.

Selected Work

Four pieces, four rooms.

Why it looks different

Most fitted furniture is joinery.
This is design.

I've never had a snappy answer to "so what do you do?". The long version: an architecture degree, years as a creative director designing everything from magazines to digital products, and now a workshop, because I missed making real things. It all turns out to matter. Every commission starts as a drawing that considers the whole room, its proportion, light and line, before a single sheet gets cut. You'll see your room before it exists.

How commissions work
The Process

Three movements.

I

The Design

A survey, a proper conversation, and a drawn study of your room: materials, proportions, light.

II

The Proposal

A private page with your design, options, honest inclusions, and a price that means it.

III

The Making

Built in my workshop, fitted with care, finished when it's right, not when it's Friday.
